Triennial Wellness Survey Results
Our district takes pride in supporting the needs of each child, to ensure they are safe, supported, and engaged on a daily basis while attending Wahoo Public Schools.
Research indicates that initiatives focused on improving aspects of a student’s well-being in school—such as opportunities for physical activity, addressing childhood obesity, and supporting appropriate mental health practices—have been found effective in improving student success and academic achievement.
We have assessed our wellness policy as part of the USDA requirements and have shared pertinent information below.

The goals established by the triennial review include:
1. Nutrition Education Goal: All meals are prepared according to guidelines from State and Federal levels.
2. Physical Activity Goal: Provide time and opportunities for students to participate in physical activities through schedules, curriculum, and extra-curricular activities.
3. Other Student Wellness Goal: Provide mental health supports in our buildings during the school day.
