All eBooks in these collections can be read on your computer's Internet browser, or your iOS, Windows, Android, and other electronic devices.
To read eBooks on your school iPads or other personal devices, you must download the axis360 app (free from the App Store, Android Market, Google Play, etc.). Once downloaded, simply click on "Search for My Library" and type "Wahoo." Then click either "Wahoo Elementary" or "Wahoo Middle/High School" to enter the library collection.

Students will log into the system using their district-assigned Google user names and passwords.
PARENTS: If you need your child's user name and password, please email Mr. Privett [dprivett@wahoowarriors.org] and he will forward it to you.

Wahoo Public Schools partners with Educational Service Unit #2 in Fremont to provide our students with robust eBook collections.

These digital libraries are fully compatible with the district's 1:1 iPad and MacBook initiatives in grades 7-12. Other students can utilize this resource on any Internet browser, or on their own personal devices. Right now, this service is compatible with Mac iOS (iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone), Windows, Android, Nook, and Kindle Fire devices (Unfortunately at this time it will not function on other Kindle devices).

The initiative is designed to supplement existing library collections and to promote literacy by utilizing technology already in the hands of many students and families.

All students and staff have their own Axis 360 accounts, using their district-assigned Google user names and passwords.

The Axis 360 app will allow you to both check out and read your eBooks, using the same user name and password. Axis360 offers an interactive, graphic e-reading experience for emerging young readers, and text-to-speech capability, which syncs the book and the audio. Your eBooks will "check in" automatically on their due dates, but please check in books manually when you finish reading them, so they are available to other students who are waiting for those titles.

Parents: You also have open access to this service, using your students' account information on your home devices. Please contact WPS Media Director Dave Privett (402-443-4332 ext. 3232 or email dprivett@wahoowarriors.org) for assistance in using the eBook libraries, or to obtain your child's district Google user name and password.

Right now, about 40 school districts have joined this consortium to provide their students access to eBooks. Currently, the elementary and middle/high school eBook libraries contain a combined total of over 16,000 titles (many with multiple copies). All titles are cooperatively selected by participating library media specialists, and new titles are added twice yearly (fall and spring).

Please click HERE to access the Axis360 YouTube channel, which offers video tutorials on how to use this system.

QUESTIONS? Please contact WPS Media Director David Privett (dprivett@wahoowarriors.org, 402-443-4332 ext. 3232). Students may also bring their devices to Wahoo Elementary Media Specialist Jami Spaulding in the elementary library, or Mrs. Kristine Peterson in the middle/high school library for assistance in using these eBook collections.
