Wahoo Public Schools is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of instructional facilitator for the 2026-27 school year. The facilitator will provide guidance and support to staff, students and families, while supporting administrative duties in the school through behavior support and staff reviews. ACTIVITIES POSITIONS:
DANCE COACH - Apply HERE.
Wahoo Public Schools is seeking a head dance coach for the 2026-27 school year. The selected candidate will be responsible for sponsoring the dance team and providing opportunities for all interested students to participate. Duties include directing, supervising, and training the dance team, as well as overseeing the conduct of team members during practices, performances, and competitions. The Head Dance Coach will lead the team in a manner that promotes positive sportsmanship, integrity, and leadership by example.
HEAD GOLF COACH (BOYS AND GIRLS) - Apply HERE.
Wahoo Public Schools is seeking a head golf coach for the 2026-27 school year. Wahoo High School is classified as a C-1 district in volleyball and competes in the Trailblazer Conference in eastern Nebraska.

Wahoo Public Schools is currently seeking interested applicants for the position of bookkeeper/superintendent's secretary. This position is housed in the office of the superintendent. Anticipated job duties may include: accounts payable/receivable, activities accounts, and school nutrition accounts. Accounting background is preferred, but not required. Wahoo Public Schools is seeking applicants for both full and part time paraprofessionals.
BUS DRIVERS
Wahoo Public Schools is accepting applications for sub/regular bus route drivers and Activity bus drivers with the possibility of subbing for other routes as well. All training and CDL classes for bus drivers will be paid by the district. If hired, you will be required to pass a drug screening and background check.

Wahoo Public Schools is seeking applicants for substitute paraprofessionals. Please download and complete the "Non-Certified" application linked at the bottom of this page. Please send applications and/or inquiries to WPS Superintendent Brandon Lavaley.
