Welcome to Wahoo High School
HIGH SCHOOL LINKS
August 4, 2025
Welcome back! On behalf of Wahoo High School faculty and staff, I would like to welcome everyone to the 2025-26 school year. While there are still a few items to be completed from our construction project, the school day and students should not be affected to begin the year.
Our first day is Thursday, August 14th, doors will open at 7:45 each morning and school begins at 8:05 and ends at 3:26. Wahoo High School works hard to maintain a safe environment for all our students. In the morning, high school students should enter either through the main high entrance(West door), or through the south high school entrance (New entrance by football concession stand).
Wahoo Public Schools will continue to offer the best educational experience possible for its students. For this to take place, it is more important than ever parents and students take an active role in the educational process. Remember attendance and active participation are the key components to ensure student success, so when healthy, make sure your student is present. If you have questions as we open, please remember to ask someone if you need help! Together we will work to make this a great school year!
We will hand out computers on the first day back. Please make sure to log in to your Parent Portal and sign the device loan agreement. The $35 tech fee can be paid at Open House (August 11th from 6:00- 7:30 pm) or the 1st day of school. Students must have the agreement signed and the rental fee taken care of before a student’s device can leave the building.
Finally, enclosed are the plans for traffic flow and parking for the 2025-26 year. We have tried to come up with an efficient way for parents and students both before and after school. The new parking and driveway are one way. Seniors will use the northwest lot of the high school (Gold Lot). Juniors through freshmen will park south of the PLC (Blue Lot). It is important for students only to park in the lot that they have a permit for. There is a possibility a student’s parking assignment could be changed if a need is shown. Student vehicles must display a parking permit to park on school grounds! Parking permits are available in the high school office.
I am very excited to welcome you back and am looking forward to a great school year.
