Senior Makenzie Sutton Celebrates SCC Coursework Successes
Makenzie has earned 17.5 college credits previous to this semester with both face-to- face Southeast Community College classes taught by Wahoo High instructors and online classes through the SCC SENCAP Program.
This semester, Makenzie is taking 18 college credits. Nine of these credits are through the Southeast Community College’s SENCAP face-to-face classes taught by Wahoo High instructors, and the other nine credits are through the online courses also offered to high school students through the SCC SENCAP Dual Credit Program.
During her enrollment in Dual Credit classes, Makenzie successfully completed courses in her field of interest, Radiologic Technology, as well as General Education classes that will all transfer to her college-of-choice, the University of Sioux Falls.
Makenzie states: “I plan to attend the University of Sioux Falls and receive a Bachelor degree in Radiologic Technology. Taking 35+ credits of SCC dual credit classes has prepared me for college course loads, as well as saving me a lot of money and time. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested.”
Congratulations to Makenzie for her perseverance and commitment to her education!
