Channel 4 News out of the United Kingdom recently did a video report about the "New American Gold Rush," focusing on the effects of the world's high demand for corn, which is pushing up the price of the crop and benefiting the Nebraska farmers who produce it!
The report documents the thriving economy of Nebraska, despite the fact that most of the rest of the United States, the UK, and numerous other countries are facing financial hardships.
Wahoo is featured toward the end of the video (at approx. 5:50). The Wahoo High School/Bishop Neumann football game is used to illustrate healthy small town life.
