FINAL 2015 SEASON RECORD: 27-5

The Wahoo Lady Warriors ended their 2015 volleyball season with a respectable 27-5 record.

“We are very proud of the girls,” commented Warrior Head Volleyball Coach Trish Larson. “The season did not end how we wanted it to, but the girls have a lot to be proud of.”

Senior outside hitter Lauren Crockett led the Warrior attack with 339 kills and 55 aces. Middle blocker Taylor Homes added another 265 kills and a team-high 49 solo blocks.

“Lauren and Taylor are both very powerful hitters and have been key components to our success the last three years,” Larson stated.

Sophomore outside hitter Maddie Larson contributed 154 kills and led the team in digs with 294. Mallory Lindstrom added 116 kills and 61 aces. Freshman Elly Larson added another 143 kills and 38 blocks.

Freshman setter Kinsley Tingelhoff ran the offense, ending the season with 877 assists.

“Kinsley did an excellent job delivering the ball and creating one-on-one opportunities for our hitters,” commented Larson.  “The way she commands the offense and put the ball where it needs to be makes her one of the top setters in class C-1.”

Libero Emma Hastings finished the season with 122 digs and 217 receptions. Shelby Milliken added 172 digs and 220 receptions.

“Seniors Lauren Crockett, Taylor Homes, and Shelby Milliken will be missed,” Larson said. “They have made a huge impact to our program and were keys to our success. There will be big shoes to fill next year.”
