Luke Specht takes runner-up medal @ D.C. West Tourney; team finishes 6th
Wahoo travels to Ashland-Greenwood Tournament on Monday
April 6, 2022 (D.C. West Tournament)

The Wahoo Golf team played in the D.C. West Invite at The Pines CC in Valley. Freshman Luke Specht played exceptionally well in horribly windy conditions, finishing in 2nd place with an 80. Specht lead at the turn recording a 37 after the front 9. He recorded a 43 on the back 9 to finish 1 stroke back. The Warriors finished in 6th place. Other scores from the invite: Braylon Iversen 97, Sam Biggerstaff 98, Jaiden Powers 103, and Mason Rodgers 105.

"Luke is playing really well right now and is having a lot of fun doing it. He loves the game of golf and it shows," commented Head Coach Jayson Iversen. "We are really close to being a very good team. Braylon, Sam, Jaiden, and Mason are doing some good things, but they are struggling around the green and it’s clearly impacting their scores.
