14th Annual Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast Continues to Break Records
Yearly Dr. Seuss Celebration Serves 746!
WOW!!! Another record-breaking crowd enjoyed our 14th annual Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast at Wahoo Elementary.
On Wednesday, March 2, 746 students and families enjoyed this awesome meal sponsored by our PTO organization.
Superintendent Galen Boldt, Elementary Principal Jane Wiebold, and members of the Board of Education greeted guests as they arrived for this event.
The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who were new Dr. Seuss characters to come alive this year. They joined in the crowd-loving antics with Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and Horton.
Many of our students were delighted when Thing 1 and Thing 2 wanted some friends to “tickle the Grinch.” One parent exclaimed that this March 2 celebration is her favorite holiday!
Invited by the 5th grade students, Senator Chris Langemeier, Mayor Jerry Johnson, Deputy Curt Cherovsky, and Wahoo Public Library Director Denise Lawver were some of the dignitaries in attendance.
THANK YOU to our Wahoo Elementary/Middle School PTO for sponsoring this annual event. Come join us next year for Green Eggs and Ham!
