16th Annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration Draws Big Morning Crowd

The Cat in the Hat adds to the excitement of the 2013 Green Eggs & Ham Breakfast at Wahoo Elementary, an annual event celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss.A Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast was enjoyed by 763 guests at the 16th annual Wahoo Elementary Dr. Seuss’ Birthday celebration on Feb. 27!
The Wahoo Elementary PTO sponsors this yearly event.
Students, families, and invited dignitaries came to enjoy this awesome breakfast! Dignitaries in attendance included Senator Jerry Johnson, Mayor Janet Jonas, Librarians Denise Lawver and Carrie Trutna, Sheriff Kevin Stukenholtz, Wahoo Police Chief Ken Jackson, Saunders Medical Center CEO Ken Archer, and Postmaster Mark Fisher.
Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2 delighted the breakfast crowd with their antics and tricks.
It was a day we do not want to forget!
