Launch the media gallery 1 playerCongratulations to the Wahoo High School Class of 2012. This year's senior class celebrated its final day of school on Wednesday, May 9. Graduation was celebrated on Sunday, May 13, at 1:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
Thirty-nine percent of this year's graduates plan to attend a four-year college or university, 34 percent plan to attend a two-year college, six percent will attend a tech or trade school, nine percent will enter into military service, and 11 percent will enter the work force.
Forty-eight (48.3%) percent of the seniors reported they were offered a scholarship and/or grant for a total amount of over $1,000,000 ($1,085.973.40) in award monies this year, but will accept the use of about $745,000 ($745,231.51). Of these totals, $32,328.13 came from local scholarships and $23,350 came from grants.
