Forty-nine percent of this year's graduates plan to attend a four-year college or university, 30 percent plan to attend a two-year college, 14 percent will join the workforce or are undecided about their future choice, and seven percent will enlist into a branch of the military.
Seniors will attend 23 different post-secondary learning institutions, the largest numbers attending Southeast Community College (14), the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (13), and the University of Nebraska at Kearney (4).
This senior class also realized success on the ACT: 10 seniors scored a 25 or better, and 3 seniors scored a 30 or better.
Seventy-five percent of seniors applied for local scholarships. More than $80,000 in local scholarships were awarded to this year's senior class.
