Josh Leymaster went 2-3 at the plate, but Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran fell 11-3 to Elkhorn South on Saturday.
Number 5 got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered nine hits.
Number 3, #16, #1 and #13 helped lead Elkhorn South. They combined for 10 hits and seven RBIs.
Leymaster was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
Wahoo/RC/LL jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Warriors got things going when Cole Peterson singled. A stolen base then moved Peterson from first to second. Leymaster singled, bringing home Peterson.
Elkhorn South didn't relinquish the lead after scoring four runs in the second inning when it scored on a groundout by #13 and three singles.
After pushing across one run in the top of the fourth, Wahoo/RC/LL faced just a 5-2 deficit. An RBI single by Reid Nelson fueled the Warriors' comeback. Finally, #5 got Austin Oerman to ground out to end the threat.
Elkhorn South scored four runs of its own in the fourth. Elkhorn South scored on a three-run double by #1 and an RBI single by #12.
One Warrior run crossed the plate in the top half of the sixth, making the score 9-3. A sacrifice fly by Tyler Knapp set off a Wahoo/RC/LL rally, but #5 got Oerman to end the inning.

Peter McNally did his best to change the outcome, but couldn't carry Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran past Blair as the Warriors lost 7-3 in seven innings on Tuesday.
McNally looked sharp on the mound. He held Blair hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out none.
Number 7 got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He pitched two shutout innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Andrew Blum was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out one.
The game was never in doubt after the second, as Blair scored four runs on a sacrifice fly by #10 and three singles.
One Blair base runner came all the way around to score in each of the third, fourth and fifth. In the third, Blair scored on a sacrifice fly by #5, scoring #3.
Wahoo/RC/LL scored two runs in the bottom of the third to cut its deficit to three. An RBI double by Bailey Bliss and an error triggered the Warriors' comeback. The Warrior threat came to an end when #11 finally got Josh Leymaster to ground out.
One run in the bottom of the fourth helped Wahoo/RC/LL close its deficit to 6-3. A bases-loaded walk by McNally sparked Wahoo/RC/LL's rally. Number 10 ended the inning by getting Bailey to fly out.

Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran Warriors beat Platteview 11-6 Monday behind both the bat and the arm of Josh Leymaster.
Josh had two extra-base hits for the Warriors. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth.
Platteview had no answer for Josh, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Platteview managed just two hits off of Leymaster, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out six during his 3 2/3 innings of work.
#6 was charged with the loss. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
The game's last lead went to Wahoo/RC/LL thanks to a first-inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on an error, a sacrifice fly by Brandon Zetocka, and an RBI triple by Josh.
Wahoo/RC/LL pushed across three runs in both the third inning and the sixth. In the third, the Warriors scored on an RBI double by Brandon, plating Bailey Bliss.
One run in the top of the fourth helped Platteview close its deficit to 6-1. A hit by pitch fueled Platteview's comeback. Finally, Lincoln Belitz induced an inning-ending fly out from #12.
Wahoo/RC/LL answered Platteview's top inning with one run of its own in the fourth. The Warriors scored on a groundout by Brandon.
Platteview scored one run in the top of the fifth to cut its deficit to five. A walk by #3 sparked Platteview's rally. Finally, Lincoln got #16 to ground out to end the threat.
Wahoo/RC/LL scored one run of its own in the fifth, on an RBI single by Reid Nelson.
Two runs in the top of the sixth helped Platteview close its deficit to 8-4. An RBI single by #9 and an RBI single by #6 triggered Platteview's comeback. Peter McNally ended the inning by getting #3 to fly out.
Wahoo/RC/LL survived Platteview's surge and put up three runs of its own in the sixth. The Warriors scored on an RBI double by Josh and a fielder's choice.
After pushing across two runs in the top of the seventh, Platteview faced just a 11-6 deficit. An error and an error gave Platteview life. The Warriors closed the game out when Peter got #9 to strike out.

He doubled in the sixth inning.
Reid Nelson got the win for the Warriors thanks to six strikeouts. Reid allowed three earned runs, six hits and no walks over seven innings.
#12 couldn't get it done on the mound for South Sioux City, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out six.
The bottom of the third saw South Sioux City take an early lead, 1-0. The South Sioux City attack began with a single from #14. Then they moved #14 from first to second.
The game's last lead went to Wahoo/RC/LL thanks to a fourth inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on a fielder's choice and a single by Josh Leymaster.
After posting one run in the fourth, South Sioux City again scored one in the seventh. In the fourth, South Sioux City scored on an RBI single by #17, scoring #11.
Wahoo/RC/LL built upon its lead with two runs in the sixth. The inning looked promising, as Brandon doubled, plating Bailey Bliss to kick things off. That was followed up by Peter McNally's single, bringing home Brandon.

Brandon Zetocka went 4-4 at the plate, helping Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran to a 7-2 victory over Arlington on Friday.
He singled in the second, fourth, fifth, and sixth innings.
Andrew Blum struck out 10, paving the way for the Warriors' win. Andrew allowed no earned runs, four hits and three walks over seven innings.
#14 took the loss for Arlington. He allowed seven runs in 5 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out five.
The bottom of the first saw Arlington take an early lead, 1-0. A single by #14 started the inning off.
Wahoo/RC/LL scored one run in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the fourth, the Warriors scored on a sacrifice fly by Mitchell McGill, scoring Brandon.
Wahoo/RC/LL stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fifth, scoring five runs on three singles and.

Bennington couldn't get anything going as long as Reid was on the mound. Nelson gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 3 1/3 innings of work.
#12 got the win for Bennington. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out 11, walked three and surrendered eight hits.
Lincoln Belitz was charged with the loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
The bottom of the first saw Wahoo/RC/LL take an early lead, 1-0. Bailey Bliss started the rally for the Warriors Varsity with a single. A passed ball then moved Bailey from first to second. Josh Leymaster singled, plating Bailey.
The game was never in doubt after the third, as Bennington scored five runs on two errors, a solo home run by #25, and two sacrifice flys.

Elkhorn South was never able to get over the hump and overcome its troubles against Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran on Monday, as Elkhorn South fell 3-2 after falling behind by three runs in the third inning.
Elkhorn South scored on an RBI triple by #3 in the fifth inning and an RBI single by #8 in the seventh inning. Despite its efforts, Elkhorn South couldn't get over the hump.
Wahoo/RC/LL was led by Bailey Bliss's hitting. Bailey went 2-2, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third and fifth innings.
The Warriors relied on Josh Leymaster to eat up innings en route to the win. Josh pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out three.
#5 took the loss for Elkhorn South. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
Wahoo/RC/LL never trailed after scoring one run in the first on a sacrifice fly by Bailey.
Warriors tacked on another two runs in the third. Josh singled, bringing home Bailey to start the inning.

Both Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran and Platteview put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was Wahoo/RC/LL that was able to take advantage, pulling out an 8-6 win.
Platteview out-hit the Warriors 11 to eight, but Platteview stranded six runners on base.
Bailey Bliss racked up two RBIs on one hit for Wahoo/RC/LL. He homered in the third inning.
Even though Reid Nelson allowed six runs over seven innings, he still recorded the victory. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.
#7 ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out two.
In the top of the first, Platteview grabbed the early lead, 6-0. #7 started the rally for Platteview with a single. A passed ball then moved #7 from first to second. #12 singled, scoring #7. Platteview then tacked on more runs when scored on an RBI single by #3, scored on a two-run single by #4, and scored on a groundout by #6.
Wahoo/RC/LL went up for good in the third, scoring six runs on two doubles, a two-run home run by Bailey, and two sacrifice flys.
Wahoo ekes past Ft. Calhoun in NCC Tourney

Scoreboard operators were busy on Saturday as Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran and Fort Calhoun combined for 17 runs. The Warriors eventually won the offensive battle 9-8 in seven innings.
Hitters on both sides were strong at the plate as the teams combined for 18 hits, including five extra base hits.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the sixth, with five lead changes.
Wahoo/RC/LL finally managed to grab the lead after a strong sixth inning. The Warriors went up for good on an RBI single by Austin Oermanoff Joe Genoways, bringing home Peter McNally.
Wahoo/RC/LL held off Fort Calhoun, as the Pioneers were unable to overcome a four-run sixth inning deficit.
Fort Calhoun scored three runs in the seventh on a three-run home run by Trae Bradburn. Despite its efforts, Fort Calhoun couldn't get over the hump.
Andrew Blum recorded the win for the Warriors, even though he allowed eight runs over 6 1/3 innings. Andrew struck out three, walked four and gave up nine hits.
Mitchell McGill, Cole Peterson, Austin and Peter helped lead the Warriors, combining for six hits and three RBIs.
Spencer Shull was charged with the loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
Fort Calhoun jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first. A double by Joe, scoring Peyton Greisert and Jon Keenan started the inning off. More runs came home for Fort Calhoun when Genoways scored on a groundout by Spencer.
Fort Calhoun matched its one-run second inning with one more in the sixth. In the second, Fort Calhoun scored on a single by Joe.
Wahoo/RC/LL survived Fort Calhoun's surge and put up two runs of its own in the second. The Warriors scored on an error and a groundout by Sam Otte.
Wahoo/RC/LL pushed across one run in both the third inning and the fourth. In the third, they scored on a sacrifice fly by Bailey Bliss, plating Austin .
The Warriors never surrendered the lead after the sixth inning. The runs piled on thanks to an error, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Cole.

The Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran Warriors took down Benson 22-7 on Monday after slamming Benson with 15 runs in the first inning.
Josh Leymaster put together a nice outing. Benson managed just one hit off of Leymaster, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.
Wahoo/RC/LL hammered Benson's pitching, as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 16 hits, 12 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
Number 7 took the loss for Benson. He allowed 20 runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.
The Warriors piled on six more runs in the top of the second. An error scored Brandon Zetocka to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Dylan Edward's single, plating Josh.

Bailey Bliss boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace Wahoo. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.
Number 27 recorded the win for Concordia even though he allowed five runs over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered 12 hits.
Reid Nelson took the loss for Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
Concordia closer #2 put away the final five outs to record the save.

Roncalli Catholic tacked on another six runs in the third. A clutch error scored #11 to open the scoring in the frame.
Wahoo scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth to cut its deficit to five. A walk by Zetocka and a wild pitch gave Wahoo life. #1 ended the inning by getting Jake Killham to strike out.

Bailey Bliss did all he could to give Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Crete, as the Warriors lost 9-5 in seven innings on Monday.
Bailey led Wahoo/RC/LL's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the first inning.
#8 got the win in relief for Crete. #8 pitched one inning and allowed one run.
#18, #22, #12 and #20 helped lead Crete. They combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
Tom Tewes ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked two and struck out none.
Crete went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on an error and a sacrifice fly by #12.
Crete scored three runs in the second inning, and then followed it up with three more in the sixth. In the second, Crete scored on a sacrifice fly by #22, plating #23.
Crete scored on an RBI triple by #22, an RBI double by #12, and an RBI single by #20.

Josh Leymaster allowed one hit, but Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran still fell to Wayne 6-1 in seven innings on Saturday.

Josh was charged with the loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed two runs.
Wayne stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fifth, scoring two runs on.
Wayne piled on four more runs in the top of the sixth. #25 started the inning with a single, scoring #24 and #16. That was followed up by #5's double, scoring #14.

Wayne was unable to fight back from the big hole it dug itself into against Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran, and Wayne lost 3-1 after falling behind by three runs in the second inning.
Wayne scored one run in the fourth on an RBI single by #24. Despite its efforts, Wayne couldn't get over the hump.
Bailey Bliss racked up two RBIs on two hits for Wahoo/RC/LL. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second inning.
Reid Nelson picked up the win for the Warriors. Reid pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out four.
#5 was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
Warriors stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring three runs on a two-run single by Bailey .

The Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran Warriors looked to be in control, up by four runs in the fifth inning, but Waverly came back to grab a 8-6 win on Friday.
Bailey Bliss had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and fifth innings.
#20 got the win for Waverly despite allowing five runs over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered seven hits.
Waverly was sparked by #10 and #21, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
Andrew Blum ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
The bottom of the first saw the Warriors take an early lead, 1-0. Bailey doubled, plating Austin Oerman after a double by Austin got things started.
Wahoo/RC/LL got one-run boosts in each of the third, fifth and sixth. In the third, the Warriors scored on a groundout by Austin, scoring Mitchell McGill.
Wahoo survived Waverly's surge and put up two runs of its own in the fourth. Warriors scored on a passed ball.
Waverly went up for good in the seventh, scoring two runs on an RBI double by #21 and an RBI single by #24.

The Gretna Dragons took down Wahoo 9-3 on Monday after slamming Wahoo with five runs in the second inning.
John Roll put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Gretna. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Zach Howell got the win for the Dragons. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out eight, walked one and surrendered five hits.
Gretna's Trent Jeary, John and Eric Soe combined for six hits and three RBIs.

Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran Warriors outlasted Fort Calhoun on Saturday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 5-2 win.\
The Warriors took the lead in the fifth inning and held on for the victory. Wahoo scored on an RBI single by Brandon Zetocka off Peyton Greisert, scoring Josh Leymaster. An RBI single by Brandon scored Josh to give the Warriors the lead for good.
Austin Oerman did his best to jumpstart the offense for Wahoo, reaching base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Andrew Blum got the win for Wahoo. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered six hits.
Spencer Shull couldn't get it done on the bump for Fort Calhoun, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
Wahoo's closer Jake Killhamput provided the final six outs to record the save.
Fort Calhoun jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the third. Joe Genoways got things going for Fort Calhoun with a single.
After a quick strike from Fort Calhoun, Wahoo responded with two runs in the third. The Warriors scored on a passed ball and an RBI single by Brandon.

Varsity Warriors lost 7-6 in seven innings on Monday, despite outhitting Beatrice nine to six.
Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran's Mitchell McGill was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the sixth inning.
Jake Killham looked sharp on the mound. Jake held Beatrice hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.
#12 got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over 4 1/3 innings. #12 struck out four, walked three and gave up six hits.
Josh Leymaster was charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.
In the top of the first, the Warriors grabbed the early lead, 2-0. A single by Bailey Bliss, bringing home Mitchell started the inning off. Wahoo then tacked on more runs when Bliss scored on an error.
Beatrice quickly matched Wahoo's strong inning with a two-run inning of its own in the first. Beatrice scored on a two-run double by #12.
The Warriors tied the game in the third on a passed ball that scored Bailey .
Beatrice went up for good in the third, scoring two runs on an RBI single by #23.
Beatrice added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth. #10's double got things going, scoring #30.
One run in the top of the fifth helped Wahoo close its deficit to 7-4. A sacrifice fly by Ryan Aversman sparked the Warriors' rally. Beatrice stopped the rally after #24 got Jake to fly out.
Two runs in the top of the sixth helped Wahoo close its deficit to 7-6. An RBI triple by Mitchell and a groundout by Austin Oerman gave Wahoo life. Finally, #24 got Brandon Zetocka to fly out to end the threat.

Mount Michael Benedictine didn't have a chance on Friday, as Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran Warriors Varsity won in blowout fashion, 9-2 in seven innings.
The Warriors scored four runs in the third on an RBI single by Josh Leymaster, an error, and a two-run double by Dylan Edwards.
Josh boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Warriors.
Andrew Blum recorded the win for Wahoo. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered three hits.
#1 took the loss for Mount Michael. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
