Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 18-4 loss to Skutt Catholic on Friday. Skutt Catholic scored on a triple by Nick Wiepen, a single by Sam Kudron, and a single by Mason Kass in the first inning.
The Warriors struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Skutt Catholic, giving up 18 runs.
The SkyHawks scored six runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Skutt came thanks to doubles by Sam Borsh and Kass, a triple by Cade Sudbeck, and a single by Cade Barton.
Wiepen led things off on the pitcher's mound for Skutt, allowing three hits and two runs over two innings, striking out one and walking one.
Kael Eddie was on the pitcher's mound for Wahoo/BN/LL, allowing four hits and four runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one. Brody Specht, Jackson Masek, and Garret Hoefs each contributed in relief.
Skutt Catholic hit two home runs on the day. Borsh put one out in the third inning, and Ethan Grossjung went yard in the second inning.
Aaron Ickler, Eddie, Tate Nelson, and Ryan Raabe all had one hit to lead the Warriors.
Skutt tallied 17 hits. Borsh (SkyHawks' leader going 4-for-4 at the plate), Kass, Barton, and Wiepen each had multiple hits.

Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound Friday, but Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran defeated Thurston-Cuming County 3-2. Warrior pitchers allowed just five hits to Thurston-Cuming County.
Thurston-Cuming County got on the board in the second inning, when Chase Hofmeister drew a walk, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the third inning, Wahoo/BN/LL tied things up at two. Colin Ludvik grounded out, scoring two runs.
The Warriors pulled away for good when Cooper Hancock's sac fly scored one run in the fourth inning.
Aaron Ickler was the winning pitcher for Wahoo/BN/LL, lasting four innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking one.
Zach Hegge led things off on the mound for the Thunder. The hurler surrendered three runs on six hits over five and a third innings, striking out eight and walking one. Spencer Rabbass threw two-thirds of an inning out of the bullpen.
Tate Nelson started the game for the Warriors, surrendering two runs on two hits over three innings, striking out two
Wahoo/BN/LL totaled seven hits in the game, with Ryan Raabe and Ickler leading the way with two hits each.
Thurston-Cuming County was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jake Bruns made the most plays with seven.

Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 19-0 loss to Blair on Tuesday. Blair scored on a home run by Dexter Larsen (scoring three runs), an error, a single by Hunter Travis, a single by Nolan Osterhaus, a home run by Larsen, and a home run by Cade Ulven in the first inning.
The Warriors struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Blair, giving up 19 runs.
One bright spot for Wahoo/BN/LL was a single by Jake Whitney in the second inning.
Tyler Anderson led things off on the hill for Blair. The pitcher went one inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out one and walking zero.
Pitching was a game-long struggle for the Warriors. Brody Specht started the game, lasting two-thirds of an inning, allowing six hits and eight runs while striking out one and walking zero. Aaron Ickler, Brennan Tarzian, and Storm Portsche each contributed in relief.
Blair socked six home runs on the day. Larsen went yard in the first, first, and fifth innings. Osterhaus had a four bagger in the fourth inning. Matt Burns had a homer in the fifth inning. Ulven had a dinger in the first inning.
Whitney and Ryan Raabe each had one hit to lead Wahoo/BN/LL.

The Warriors lost despite out-hitting Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy 11 to seven.
Wahoo/BN/LL fired up the offense in the first inning, when Aaron Ickler singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Otten led things off on the hill for the Mustangs. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on 11 hits and striking out four.
Micah Schlueter was on the mound for Wahoo/BN/LL, going four and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out three. Michael Lynch and Brennan Tarzian entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one-third of an inning respectively.
The Warriors tallied 11 hits on the day, with Carson Oerman and Ickler each posting multiple hits. Oerman went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead in hits.
Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy racked up seven hits. Karsten Mathsen and Otten each racked up multiple hits. The Mustangs didn't commit a single error in the field. Sam Weed had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

Four hits from Carson Oerman paved the way to victory for Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran over Arlington 10-2 on Friday. Oerman singled in the first, singled in the first, tripled in the third, and singled in the fifth.
The Warriors secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the first inning. Their offense in the inning came from singles by Tate Nelson, Brody Specht, Storm Portsche, and Oerman and a groundout by Cooper Hancock.
Nelson pitched Wahoo/BN/LL to victory, allowing three hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five. Aaron Ickler threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Dustin Kirk was on the hill for Arlington. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing ten runs on 11 hits and striking out two. Jack Bang and Josh Miller entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings and one inning respectively.
Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran racked up 12 hits on the day, with Oerman, Nelson, and Colin Ludvik each managing multiple hits. Oerman went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the Warriors n in hits. Kale Eddie shut down Douglas County West, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran to a 7-0 victory on Thursday
Wahoo/BN/LL secured the victory thanks to four runs in the first inning, with big bats led by Brody Specht and Storm Portsche, who each had RBIs in the inning. They got their offense started when a Falcon error scored two runs.
A double by Gordon Guerrero in the second inning was a positive for Douglas County West.
Eddie was credited with the victory for the Warriors. He surrendered zero runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking zero.
Clyde Stenglein was on the pitcher's mound for D.C. West, going two innings, allowing five runs on four hits. Jayson Patchin and Wrigley Strong entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and two innings respectively.
Wahoo/BN/LL totaled ten hits, with Aaron Ickler and Colin Ludvik both managing multiple hits. Ickler went 3-for-3 at the plate as the Warriors' leader.

In the first inning, Platte Valley got their offense started when Lewis hit a solo homer.
Platte Valley took the lead for good with 12 runs in the third inning. Lewis hit a solo homer, #8 singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, Lewis singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs, Washburn drew a walk, scoring one run, Carroll singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, an error scored one run for Patriots, and Butler singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Wahoo/BN/LL earned the victory despite allowing Crete to score three runs in the third inning. Crete's big bats were led by Micah Hatwig and Colton Homolka, all driving in runs in the frame.

Plattsmouth scored three runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Plattsmouth came thanks to a single by Coleman, a groundout by #16, and an error on a ball put in play by Elshire.
