Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran built an early edge on Monday, but Skutt Catholic roared back to steal a 6-2 victory.
While the Warriors led until the fourth inning, Skutt worked its way back and took the lead on a passed ball.
Skutt was sparked by #1 and #4, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
Tom Tewes took the loss for Wahoo. He allowed six runs in 5 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out one.
The top of the third saw the Warriors take an early lead, 2-0. Wahoo got things going when Kasey Ohnoutka singled. An error then moved Ohnoutka from first to third. Austin Oerman singled, bringing home Ohnoutka and Mitchell McGill.
Skutt went up for good in the fourth, scoring three runs on a two-run double by #10.
Skutt Catholic tacked on another three runs in the sixth. The inning got off to a hot start when #4 singled, scoring #2 and #1.

Mitchell McGill hopes every outing could go as well as Saturday, as McGill threw a shutout to carry Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran to a 2-0 victory over Yutan/Mead/Ashland-Greenwood (Yutan, NE) in seven innings.
The Warriors' McGill kept the Patriots off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out seven.
Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran went up for good in the first, scoring one run on an RBI single by Pete McNally.

Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran lost a hotly contested 8-4 game in seven innings on Tuesday after surrending the lead in the sixth inning.
Mitchell McGill was hot from the plate for the Warriors. McGill went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings.
Number 25, #5, and #16 helped lead Blair. They combined for eight hits and three RBIs.
The top of the first saw Blair take an early lead, 1-0. Number 5 doubled to start things off before #16 doubled, scoring #5.
Blair scored one run in the second inning, and then followed it up with one more in the third. In the second, Blair scored on a sacrifice fly by #12, bringing home #10.
Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran answered Blair's top inning with three runs of its own in the third. The Warriors scored on a sacrifice fly by Austin Oerman, an RBI double by Dylan Egr, and an RBI single by McNally.
The lead stayed with Blair after the sixth, when it scored five runs.

Warriors suffer 9th season loss to Platteview at home

Mitchell McGill did his best to will Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran to a win with a three-hit game, but the Warriors dropped a 10-4 contest to Platteview on Monday.
Platteview was sparked by #6 and #11, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
The lead stayed with Platteview after the second, when it scored five runs on an RBI double by #5, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by #6.
Two runs in the bottom of the 5th helped Wahoo close its deficit to 9-2. A two-run double by Pete McNally triggered Warriors' comeback, and #6 ended the inning by getting Brenton Davis to fly out.
After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the 7th, Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran faced just a 10-4 deficit. A groundout by Davis and an RBI single by Austin Oerman gave the Warriors life.

Andrew Blum did his best to change the outcome, but Blum couldn't lead Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran past Arlington, as the Warriors lost 2-1 in seven innings on Friday.
Blum looked sharp on the hill. Arlington managed just two hits off of Blum, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work.
The lone run of the game for the crossed the plate in the second inning on a walk by Mitchell McGill.
The lead stayed with Arlington after the third, when it scored two runs on a two-run double by #30.

Mitchell McGill allowed just one run on Tuesday, but Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran couldn't get the offense going in a 1-0 defeat to Bennington.
McGill struck out six Bennington batters. McGill allowed one earned run on nine hits and two walks over seven innings.
The seventh inning saw Bennington score its only run on the day on an RBI single by #15.

The Warriors didn't provide Tom Tewes with much support in the runs department, but he didn't need much. Tewes pitched seven strong innings to carry Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran to a 1-0 win over Elkhorn South in seven innings on Monday.
The Warriors held Elkhorn South without a run while Tewes was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on six hits while striking out three.
Austin Oerman got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.
Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran scored its only run of the game on an RBI double by Tewes in the first inning.

A five-run explosion in the fourth inning carried Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln to an 8-2 win in seven innings over Fort Calhoun on Saturday.
The Warriors scored in the fourth on an RBI double by Billy Hancock, an error, an RBI double by Pete McNally, an RBI single by Brenton Davis, and an RBI single by Cameron Quick.
Quick was perfect at the dish, going 2-2!
McNally's 11 strikeouts helped propel the Warriors to victory. McNally allowed no earned runs on one hit and two walks over six innings.
The game's last lead went to Wahoo, thanks to a second inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by Hancock.
The Warriors piled on two more runs in the bottom of the third. A passed ball scored Dylan Egr for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Quick's single, bringing home Davis.
Two Fort Calhoun runs crossed the plate in the top half of the fourth, making the score 3-2. A two-run single by #5 sparked Fort Calhoun's rally. Finally, McNally induced an inning-ending ground out from #19.

Two pitchers joined forces to throw a no-hitter for Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran in an 11-0 victory in five innings over Benson on Friday.
Nick Oden and Andrew Blum tallied 10 strikeouts and walked two in completing the no-no.
Benson couldn't get anything going as long as Blum was on the bump. Blum held Benson hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven.
Eight runs in the first three innings helped the Warriors blow out Benson. An RBI single by Brenton Davis and an RBI single by Tom Tewes in the first inning and an error, a sacrifice fly by Cameron Quick, and a walk by Austin Oerman during the second inning supplied the early offense for Wahoo.
Pete McNally went a perfect 1-1 at the plate, and he doubled in the first inning.
The Warriors increased their lead with three runs in the third. A clutch sacrifice fly scored Kasey Ohnoutka to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Quick's single, plating Dylan Egr and McNally.
Wahoo added two more runs in the top of the fifth. Billy Hancock singled, plating Davis to start the inning.

Wahoo/RC/LL lost the Capital Conference consolation game Saturday after losing the lead in the sixth inning, as the Platteview Trojans grabbed an 8-3 victory in seven innings.
Brenton Davis racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Warriors. He homered in the fourth inning.
Warrior pitcher Tom Tewes lasted six innings, walked seven, struck out four, and allowed four runs, taking the loss.
Platteview jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. The Warriors quickly matched Platteview's strong inning with a three-run inning of its own in the fourth. They scored on a two-run home run by Davis and an RBI single by Kasey Ohnoutka.
The game's last lead went to Platteview, thanks to a sixth inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on an RBI double. The Trojans added four more runs in the top of the seventh.

The Patriots were sparked by four hits and five RBIs. Pitcher Mitchell McGill took the loss for the Warriors. He lasted 5 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
Platte Valley added eight more runs in the top of the sixth.
The Warriors’ lone run of the ballgame came in the seventh inning on an RBI single by McGill.

Warrior pitcher Mitchell McGill kept the Falcons off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up five.
The Warriors never trailed after scoring one run in the first on a fielder's choice.
In the second, the Warriors scored on an RBI single by Kasey Ohnoutka, bringing home Quick. After posting one run in the second, Wahoo/RC/LL again scored one in the fifth.

Skutt's lineup had no answer for Cameron Quick. Quick gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his four innings of work.
Skutt was sparked by #1 and #20, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
Chase Stebbing couldn't get it done on the hill for the Warriors, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in three innings, walked three and struck out five.
The Skyhawks scored three runs on an error and an RBI single by #20.
Skutt built upon its lead with five runs in the second, as #1 tripled, scoring #10 to start the inning. That was followed up by #4's single, bringing home #1.
One Warrior run crossed the plate in the bottom half of the second, making the score 8-3. An RBI single by McGill gave Wahoo life. The Warrior threat came to an end, though, when #22 finally got Pete McNally to strike out.
Skutt Catholic piled on two more runs in the top of the third. An error scored #1 to start the scoring in the inning.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fourth, Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran faced a 10-4 deficit. An RBI triple by McGill set off a Warrior rally, but #9 got McNally to to end the inning.
After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the seventh, the Warriors faced just a 10-7 deficit. A two-run single by Brenton Davis and an RBI single by Quick fueled Wahoo's comeback. Finally, though, #15 got Dylan Egr to fly out to end the game.

Tom Tewes had two extra base hits, helping Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran to an 8-5 victory over Concordia on Saturday.
He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Jake Killham worked out of four difficult moments for the Warriors. He pitched three innings and allowed no earned runs on one hit. Killham faced his toughest moment in the fifth inning.
Tewes got the win despite allowing five runs over four innings. He struck out five, walked three and gave up six hits.
Warriors' Tewes, Cameron Quick, and Pete McNally combined for eight hits and four RBIs.
The game was never in doubt after the second, as Wahoo/RC/LL scored three runs on an error, a groundout by Ryan Ickler, and an RBI single by McNally.
One run in the top of the third helped Concordia close its deficit to 3-1. After a quick strike from Concordia, Wahoo/RC/LL responded with two runs in the third. The Warriors scored on a groundout by Kasey Ohnoutka and a steal of home by Dylan Egr.
Two Concordia runs crossed the plate in the top half of the fourth, making the score 5-3. An error and an RBI double set off a Concordia rally. It didn't take long for the Warriors to respond as it scored two of its own in the fourth on a two-run double by Quick.

Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran beat Falls City 12-0 in five innings on Friday after a nine-run explosion in the first inning.
The Warriors scored in the first on an RBI single by Cameron Quick, an error, a two-run single by Austin Oerman, an RBI single by Kasey Ohnoutka, a two-run single by Dylan Egr, and a two-run double by Brenton Davis.
Davis racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Warriors.

Brenton Davis did all he could to give Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Roncalli Catholic, as the Warriors lost 6-3 in seven innings on Tuesday.
Davis had two extra-base hits for Wahoo. He doubled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the seventh inning.
Roncalli Catholic was sparked by #28 and #3, who teamed up for three hits and three RBIs.
Roncalli never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring one run on a sacrifice fly by #28.
The Crimson Pride piled on four more runs in the top of the fifth. A wild pitch scored #42 for the inning's first run. That was followed up by #28's triple, bringing home #4 and #21.
One run in the bottom of the fifth helped Wahoo close its deficit to 5-1. An RBI double by Davis set off a Warrior rally. Finally, #33 got Cameron Quick to ground out to end the threat.
Two runs in the bottom of the seventh helped the Warriors close its deficit to 6-3. A two-run single by Tom Tewes fueled Wahoo's comeback. Roncalli Catholic closed the game out when #33 got Billy Hancock to fly out.

After five lead changes in Monday's game, Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran pulled out a 7-3 win over Crete.
The Warriors finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fourth inning. An error scored Dylan Egr and gave them the lead for good.
Brenton Davis boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate. He doubled in the first inning and tripled in the seventh inning.
The top of the first saw the Warriors take an early lead, 2-0. Mitchell McGill kicked things off with a single. A groundout by Pete McNally then moved McGill from first to third. Davis doubled, plating McGill. More runs came home for Wahoo/RC/LL when Tucker Hancock scored on an RBI double by Billy Hancock.
After a quick strike from the Warriors, Crete responded with two runs in the first, scoring on a two-run error.

The Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran Warriors beat Wayne 8-4 in seven innings on Saturday, in the first game of a double header, behind Pete McNally, who recorded the win for the Warriors, in addition to a three-run home run in the fourth inning. Warriors' pitcher McNally allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out seven, walked seven and surrendered six hits.
Wahoo/RC/LL tied the game in the third on a two-run single by Brenton Davis that scored Mitchell McGill and Tucker Hancock.
The Warriors stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring four runs.
After pushing across two runs in the top of the sixth, Wayne faced just a 6-4 deficit. Wahoo/RC/LL survived Wayne's surge and put up two runs of its own in the sixth. The Warriors scored on an RBI single by Cameron Quick and a groundout by Tom Tewes.

After five lead changes in game two on Saturday, Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran finally pulled out a 6-5 win over Wayne, thanks to a strong fifth inning. The Warriors went up for good on an RBI single by Dylan Egr, scoring Kasey Ohnoutka.
Egr went a perfect 2 for 2 at the dish. Jake Killham pitched lights out for the Warriors. Killham held Wayne hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Blake Kaiser got the win in relief. Kaiser pitched 1 2/3 innings and allowed no runs.
The top of the first saw Wayne take an early lead, 1-0. It didn't take long for the Warriors to respond, as they scored three runs in the first. The Warriors scored on an RBI double by Pete McNally, a groundout by Cameron Quick, and an RBI double by Austin Oerman.

With the Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran Warriors trailing by one in the seventh inning, Tucker Hancock came to the plate and singled, bringing home Colton June and Cameron Quick, for two RBIs.
Warrior pitcher Chase Stebbing got it done on the bump with two innings of shutout ball. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.
The Warrior bats were sparked by Mitchell McGill and Brenton Davis, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.

Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran Warriors fell 10-8 to Nebraska City in seven innings on Thursday, despite racking up eight hits and eight runs.
Mitchell McGill led the Warriors’ offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.
Nebraska City's Sheridan Silvius, Trey Denniston, and Austin Betts combined for 10 hits and four RBIs.
The Pioneers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Denniston kicked things off for Nebraska City with a single. A single byBrennen Bale then moved Denniston from first to second. Andrew Harrah singled, bringing home Denniston.
After a quick strike from Nebraska City, the Warriors responded with two runs in the first. The Warriors scored on a two-run single by Tom Tewes.
Wahoo/RC/LL tied the game in the second on a steal of home.
The game was tilted in Nebraska City's favor in the fifth, as the Vikings scored six runs on an error and three singles.

Wahoo/RC/LL Warriors jumped out to an early lead on the Omaha South Packers and captured a 15-0 victory on Tuesday.
Fourteen runs in the first three innings allowed the Warriors to put the game away early.
An RBI single by Austin Oerman, an RBI double by Tom Tewes, a walk by Pete McNally, an RBI single by Cameron Quick, and an RBI double by Dylan Egr in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Tewes, an error, a two-run single by Jake Killham, a fielder's choice, a two-run triple by Oerman, and an error during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Warriors. Oerman racked up three RBIs on three hits.
McNally pitched lights out. Omaha South managed just one hit off of the Warrior pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Cameron Quick drove in the go-ahead run to give the Warriors the lead in the sixth inning, as they hung on to beat #6-ranked Gretna 3-2 on Monday.
Gretna jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first.
Warrior pitcher Tom Tewes had an impressive outing against the Dragon lineup. He gave up just one hit, allowed one earned run, walked six and struck out six during his five innings of work.
Jake Killham got the win in relief for the Warriors. Killham pitched two innings and allowed no runs.
Wahoo/RC/LL put up one run in each of the fourth, fifth and sixth.
Brenton Davis singled to get on base in the sixth. He then went from first to second on a sac bunt by Tewes.

Wahoo/Raymond Central/Lincoln Lutheran lost 5-0 on Monday, due to a no-hitter from Beatrice's Austin Ragland.
No Warrior batter was able to locate Ragland's pitches during the game. Ragland threw a no-hitter, striking out four batters and walking three. He got Pete McNallly to strike out for the final out of the game.
Beatrice's lineup had no answer for Jake Killham. Killham gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 3 1/3 innings of work.
Warrior pitcher Tom Tewes lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked eight, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
Beatrice got one-run rallies in the second inning and the sixth. In the second, Beatrice scored on a passed ball, plating Dalton Hartig.

Wahoo/RC/LL and Mount Michael both had scoring chances on Friday, but the Warriors were able to capitalize on them as it pulled out a 7-2 win at home.
Mount Michael had eight hits compared with the Warrior’s six, but the Knights stranded eight runners on base.
Brenton Davis reached base three times. He doubled in the first inning.
Warrior pitcher Andrew Blum handled Mount Michael's lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Blum allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk over five innings.
The top of the first saw the Knights take an early lead, 1-0.
Wahoo/RC/LL never trailed after scoring three runs in the fourth on two errors and an RBI single by Pete McNally.
The Warriors built upon its lead with four runs in the fifth. A double by Tom Tewes ignited the offense, scoring Davis. That was followed up by Jake Killham's single.
