The #1-seeded Warrior Girls Basketball Team defeated #2 Beatrice 46-35 on Jan. 30 to capture the very first Trailblazer Conference Championship trophy!

Wahoo traveled to Wayne Friday night. The Wayne Blue Devils took an early 9-0 lead before the Warriors were able to sink their first shot. Despite a very slow start, Wahoo stayed calm and intensified their defense. Within four minutes the Warriors overcame the Blue Devils, and ended the first grace period, up 16-13. The Warriors led at half time 28-19; however, inconsistent play allowed Wayne to hang around, ending the third, 41-34. Wahoo dominated the fourth quarter and sealed the deal, capturing the 58-41 victory.
