COMMENTS:
The girls really stepped up to the level of our competition today and turned in some tremendous individual and team performances.
Sam Polivka made her debut in the high jump and recorded a season best, while also having a personal best in the long jump. Emily Brodahl made her debut in the triple jump, placing sixth. The 3200m relay team, consisting of Erin Curran, Erin Walker, Kylie Krecklow, and Mattie Murren set the tone for the running events with a 10:11, which ranks sixth best time in Class B this season.
Erin Curran and Erin Walker both recorded personal bests in the 1600m, with Curran reestablishing the number one time in Class B at 5:18 and Walker recording a 5:45. Hailey Sloup continues to shine in the 300m hurdles with a personal best 51.9. All in all, I felt that we competed very well throughout the day and gave ourselves momentum going into the conference meet this Saturday.
