WHS Freshman Trackster Beats School Record Previously Held by WHS Coach
Murren Overtakes Coach Brigham's Record in 300m Hurdles
Sadie Murren, a freshman hurdler at Wahoo High School, has been tearing up the track in the 300m hurdles, turning in personal bests in her last four meets.
On April 28, at the North Bend Invite, Sadie broke the current 300m low hurdle record, recording a time of 48.05 seconds. The previous 300m low hurdle record of 48.6 seconds was held by Kim (Horsham) Brigham, who currently coaches Murren in the hurdles at WHS.
The following week at the Capital Conference meet in Arlington, Murren again broke her five-day-old record with a time of 47.80 seconds, which currently ranks sixth in the Class B rankings.
Congratulations Sadie on your outstanding accomplishment!
