Nebraska Capital Conference Track Meet (Arlington)
The Wahoo girls track team traveled to Arlington on Saturday, May 2 to compete in the Nebraska Capital Conference track meet. Arlington, the defending conference champion used their depth in the discus, shot, and pole vault to build a 52-point lead in the first three events, pushing the Warriors to maximum their efforts the remainder of the afternoon on the track. The Warriors began their scoring in the long jump, with Morgan Hancock placing third, Katelyn O'Brien placing fourth, and Nicole Pearson finishing sixth. The triple jump was also fruitful for Wahoo with Emily Brodahl placing second, Nicole Pearson placing third, and Mattie Murren finishing fifth. The 3200m relay team, consisting of Nicole Pearson, and three newcomers - Ali Norris, Katelyn O'Brien, and Sydney Hancock finished fourth, running keeping the Warriors in the scoring race. In the 100m hurdles, Sadie Murren finished third and Hailey Sloup finished fourth. Emily Brodahl provided the scoring in the 100m and 200m dashes, with third place finishes in both races. The 400m dash marked the beginning of the swing for Wahoo in scoring with Mattie Murren placing first, Morgan Hancock finishing third, and Kayla Bennett placing fourth, all with personal bests. The 800m saw Mattie Murren finish second, Morgan Hancock third and Kayla Bennett finishing sixth. The 300m hurdles, just like the 100m hurdles, were decided on a photo finish, with Sadie Murren finishing second with another new school record time of 47.80. The 1600m and 3200m saw Erin Curran and Michaela Curren finish 1-2, with Erin setting new meet records in both events with times of 5:23.56 and 11:36.75. The 400m relay, consisting of Sydney Hancock, Alison Brodahl, Katelyn O'Brien, and Emily Brodahl finished third, while the 1600m relay, consisting of Morgan Hancock, Kayla Bennett, Sadie Murren, and Mattie Murren capped off the meet with a first place finish. The Warriors finished runner up to Arlington, with scores of 160 to 148, with pole vault being the deciding factor in the team scoring, with Arlington scoring 13 points to give them the victory.
The Wahoo girls competed in the North Bend Invite on April 28. The Warriors finished third in the team scoring and had outstanding performances throughout the day. Sadie Murren won the 300m hurdles in a time of 48.05, which was a new school record, originally held by Kim Brigham, the current hurdles coach at Wahoo High School. The 3200m relay, consisting of Erin Curran, Michaela Curran, Morgan Hancock, and Mattie Murren won going away with an all class best time of 9:43, two seconds off their school record time from 2008 which won Class B last season. Mattie Murren finished second and Michaela Curran finished third in the 800m. Erin Curran finished second in the 1600m run. Sadie Murren finished second and Hailey Sloup finished fifth in the 100m hurdles. Morgan Hancock finished third in the long jump. Emily Brodahl finished fourth and Nicole Pearson finished sixth in the triple jump. Emily Brodahl finished sixth in the shot put and fifth in the 100m dash. Morgan Hancock finished fourth and Kayla Bennett finished fifth in the 400m dash. The 400m relay finished third, along with the 1600m relay.

The Wahoo girls competed in the Schuyler Invite on April 23. The Warriors finished third in the team scoring and had outstanding performances throughout the day. Erin Curran, Mattie Murren, and Morgan Hancock finished 1-2-3 in the 800m run. Michaela Curran finished first in the 1600m run. Sadie Murren finished first in the 100m and 300m hurdles. The 1600m relay, which consisted of Erin Curran, Michaela Curran, Morgan Hancock, and Mattie Murren finished first in a Class B best time of 4:10. Katelyn O'Brien finished second in the high jump. Mattie Murren finished second and Kayla Bennett finished sixth in the 400m dash. The 400m relay finished third. The 3200m relay finished sixth. Nicole Pearson finished fifth in the triple jump.
Wahoo Invite (Wahoo)
The Wahoo girls competed in their home invite on April 21. The Warriors finished in the runner up spot in the team competition and had outstanding performances throughout the competition. Erin Curran and Micheala Curran finished 1-2 in the 3200m run with times of 12:08 and 12:31 and in the 1600m with times of 5:27 and 5:45. Hailey Sloup finished fifth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.56. Emily Brodahl finished third in the 100m dash with a personal best 13.15, sixth in the shot put with a throw of 32'6", and second in the triple jump with a leap of 33'8". Morgan Hancock and Kayla Bennett finished 2-3 in the 400m dash with times of 64.63 and 64.64. Mattie Murren finished third in the 800m with a time of 2:34. Ali Norris finished fifth in the 300m hurdles in a time of 52.10. Morgan Hancock finished second in the long jump with a leap of 15'10", while Nicole Pearson finished sixth with a leap of 14'2". Katelyn O'Brien finished sixth in the high jump with a leap of 4'6". The 400m relay finished second with a time of 53.25. The 1600m relay finished second with a time of 4:16. The 3200m relay finished fourth with time of 11:58.
Milford Invite (Milford)
The Wahoo girls competed at the Milford Invite on April 17. The Warriors finished in the runner up spot in the team competition and had outstanding performances throughout the competition. Erin Curran won the 1600m run with a time of 5:27 and along with Micheala Curran, Morgan Hancock, and Mattie Murren were members of the winning 3200m relay team with a time of 9:54, which lead Class B at the time. The 1600m relay, which also consisted of Kayla Bennett, Micheala Curran, Morgan Hancock, and Mattie Murren finished first with a time of 4:19. Emily Brodahl finished first in the triple jump with a leap of 33'4", sixth in the 100m dash with time of 13.56, and second in the shot put with a throw of 33'8". Morgan Hancock won the long jump with a leap of 15'10", while Nicole Pearson finished fourth with a jump of 14'11" and Katelyn O'Brien finished sixth with a leap of 14'10". Sadie Murren finished second in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.5 and second in the 300m hurdles with a time of 50.48, a personal best. Hailey Sloup finished fifth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.81 and sixth in the 300m hurdles with a time of 54.73. Ali Norris finished fourth in the 300m hurdles with a time of 52.7. Kylie Krecklow finished fourth in the 3200m run with a time of 14:33. Micheala Curran finished second in the 800m with a time of 2:29. Nicole Pearson finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 32'7" and Mattie Murren finished fourth with a leap of 32'. Kayla Bennett finished third in the 400m dash with a time of 65.6 and Nicole Pearson finished sixth with a time of 69.
The Wahoo girls traveled to North Bend for the Tiger/Cadet Invitational on April 16. The Warriors finished third in the team scoring and had outstanding performances throughout the day. Ali Norris won the 300m hurdles with a time of 51.32, followed by Hailey Sloup in fourth with a time of 52.62. The 3200m run saw Erin Curran outpace the field finishing in first with a time of 12:02.08, a 1:30 ahead of the second place competitor. Emily Brodahl outleaped the field with a victory in the triple jump with a distance of 32'1", with Nicole Pearson finishing third with a jump of 31'7". Mattie Murren lead the 400m field with blistering time of 61.09, followed closely by Morgan Hancock in third with a time of 62.37 and Kayla Bennett in sixty with a time of 64.4. Micheala Curran finished second in the 800m run with a personal best time of 2:25. Morgan Hancock finished third in the long jump with a leap of 14'8". Hailey Sloup grabbed a sixth place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.79. The 400m relay finished third with a time of 54.09. The 3200m relay finished sixth with time of 12:03.
