Wahoo will advance to the Semifinals for the second straight season after handling the fifth-seeded Adams Central Patriots on Friday night. All three phases (offense, defense, and special teams) contributed in the Warriors’ 10th win of the 2018 season.
On offense the Warriors were led by Trevin Luben, as he ran for 238 yards on 25 carries with 4 rushing touchdowns. Peyton Walling had 89 yards rushing with 1 rushing touchdown, and 40 yards receiving with 1 receiving touchdown as well.
Defensively the Warriors were in “bend but don’t break” mode. The Warriors gave up 280 yards of offense, but only 7 points. Grant Kolterman had 8 tackles and Sam Kolterman had 7 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 blocked punt. Kole Bordovsky had 7 tackles, and Jack Sutton had 4 tackles and 2 sacks. Cooper Hancock had a solid night in the secondary with 7 tackles and 1 interception.
Next week Wahoo will travel to the #1-seeded Aurora Huskies to avenge their only loss of the 2018 season for the Semifinals of the NSAA C-1 playoffs.

Wahoo dominated in their first 2018 playoff game versus Milford. The Warriors amassed 464 yards of total offense, while holding Milford to 61 yards of total offense.
On offense the Warriors were led by Trevin Luben, as he ran for 279 yards on 25 carries with 3 rushing touchdowns. Luke Partridge had 3 receptions for 20 yards, and Peyten Walling had 2 catches for 30 yards and 1 touchdown.
Defensively the Warriors were led by the Kolterman brothers. Grant had 12 tackles with 1 tackle for a loss, while big brother Sam had 9 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 1 sack. Kole Bordovsky had 7 tackles and Gunnar Vanek had 5 tackles and 1 tackle for loss.

Wahoo picked up their third straight District Title on Friday by defeating the Columbus Scotus Shamrocks 40-14. It was a game where Scotus had several special teams miscues, and the Warriors capitalized on each of them.
On offense the Warriors were led by Trevin Luben as he ran for 127 yards on 19 carries with 2 rushing touchdowns. Cooper Hancock and Peyten Walling led all receivers with 2 catches for 42 yards a piece.
Defensively the Warriors were led by linebackers Kole Bordovsky and Sam Kolterman. Bordovsky had 15 tackles with 1 tackle for a loss, and Kolterman had 9 tackles and 1 sack. Jack Sutton had another great night inside, with 9 tackles and 1 sack.
On special teams Wahoo dominated early in the first quarter. Rolando Sotelo recovered a fumble on the first punt that set up the first offensive score. Logan Brabec caused a fumble, and Sheldon Johnson recovered the fumble on the second kick-off of the game that set up the field goal to go up 10-0. Sam Kolterman blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown, giving the Warriors a 17-0 edge at the end of the first quarter. Luben also returned a kick-off 70 yards for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter.
Next week Wahoo will welcome the 5-4 Milford Eagles to Wahoo for the first round of the NSAA C-1 playoffs.

Wahoo picked up their 3rd straight District win on Friday by defeating the Columbus Lakeview Vikings 21-7 on another night where field conditions were less than desirable. Wahoo stuck to its ground game and stingy defense to earn their 7th win of the 2018 season.
On offense the Warriors were led by Trevin Luben again, as he proved that he can carry a heavy load for the second week in a row. Luben ran for 226 yards on 31 carries with 2 rushing touchdowns. Wahoo struggled through the air again, though, going 3-10, with Cooper Hancock catching two of those passes for 21 yards, and Nate Fox with one catch for 5 yards.
Defensively the Warriors were led by linebackers Kole Bordovsky and Sam Kolterman. Bordovsky had 16 tackles with 2 tackles for a loss, and Kolterman had 11 tackles with 1 tackle for a loss and 1 sack. Jack Sutton had another solid night inside with 10 tackles and 2 sacks, while Brandon Swahn had 8 tackles and 2 tackles for loss. Grant Kolterman and Cooper Hancock added 9 tackles each.
Next week Wahoo will travel to Columbus Scotus for the last game of the 2018 regular season. With a win Wahoo would clinch a District Championship for the 3rd year in a row.

Wahoo found a way to win on Friday night in a game that experienced light rain for most of the night and a surface that was less than ideal. It was a very physical, hard hitting game where Wahoo struck first in the 2nd quarter when Trevin Luben scored from two yards out.
On offense the Warriors were led by Luben, who ran for 235 yards on 41 carries with 2 rushing touchdowns. Thomas Waido had a tough night, going 4 for 11 passing with 44 yards. Peyten Walling led all receivers with 3 catches for 41 yards.
Defensively the Warriors were led by Sam Kolterman with 11 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 2 caused fumbles and 1 sack. Kole Bordovsky had 11 tackles. Brandon Swahn had 7 tackles and Gunnar Vanek had 6 tackles, 1 tackles for a loss, and 1 sack.

Wahoo had another dominant performance on Friday Night as the Warrior Offense was clicking on all cylinders and scored on all but one possession.
On offense the Warriors were led by Trevin Luben, who ran for 110 yards on 12 carries with 3 rushing touchdowns. Colin Ludvik rushed for 122 yards on 7 carries and 2 touchdowns. Thomas Waido had a very efficient night going 7 for 10 passing with 89 yards. Cooper Hancock had 2 catches for 79 yards and 1 touchdown, Trevin Luben had 3 catches for 35 yards, and Luke Partridge had 2 catches for 21 yards.
Defensively the Warriors were led by Kole Bordovsky with 7 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss and 1 interception, Grant Kolterman with 8 tackles. And Jack Sutton with 6 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss and 1 sack. Brandon Swahn had 5 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, and a fumble recovery.
On Special Teams Sam Kolterman scored a touchdown off of a 21-yard punt return, nearly dragging the Raymond Central punter into the end zone, and threw a 57-yard touchdown pass on a fake punt in the 2nd quarter.
Next week Wahoo will travel to Bishop Neumann on Friday for an important district game.

Wahoo had another dominant performance on Friday Night as the Warrior Defense made it very difficult for the West Point Cadets to move the ball. West Point was held to 134 total yards on the evening.

On offense the Warriors were led by Trevin Luben, who ran for 201 yards on 23 carries with 6 rushing touchdowns. Freshman Colin Ludvik helped out with 126 yards rushing on 13 carries and 2 rushing touchdowns. Thomas Waido had a very efficient night going 7 for 9 passing with 86 yards. Cooper Hancock led all receivers with 4 receptions for 66 yards.
Defensively the Warriors were led by Kole Bordovsky with 11 tackles and 1 tackle for loss. Jack Sutton had 10 tackles and 3 tackles for loss. Luke Partridge and Trevin Luben both contributed in the secondary with interceptions.

Wahoo fell behind very quickly against Aurora as they struggled to slow down the Huskies’ aerial attack.
On offense the Warriors took a while before they got on track, and that helped Aurora build a quick 20-point lead in the first quarter.
Offensively Wahoo was led by Trevin Luben on the ground running for 104 yards on 21 carries. and Thomas Waido with a career night, throwing 15-22 for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns. Luke Partridge led all receivers with 4 catches for 124 yards and a touchdown. Cooper Hancock had 4 catches for 46 yards and a touchdown. Nate Fox had 3 catches for 51 yards.
Defensively the Warriors were led by Kole Bordovsky, Sam Kolterman and Trevin Luben, all registering with 9 tackles each. Kole Bordovsky also had a caused fumble.

Wahoo jumped out to a 14-0 lead early in the 1st quarter and never looked back.
The Warriors were led by Trevin Luben on offense, who had a great game with 204 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns. Luben also had 20 yards receiving and 1 receiving touchdown, along with a 47-yard punt return.
Zane Bennett added 7 carries for 48 yards and 1 TD, and Colin Ludvig had 7 carries for 95 yards and 1 TD.
On defense the Warriors were led by Sam Kolterman with 5 tackles and 1 tackle for loss, Jack Sutton with 4 tackles and 1 tackle for loss, Kole Bordovsky with 4 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 1 blocked punt. Thomas Waido and Carson Lavaley each had 1 interception.

The Warrior football team travelled to Wayne for the 2018 season opener, and came home with a hard fought victory. Wahoo’s special teams and defense carried the team, as the offense struggled to finish drives and score in the red zone.
The Warriors were led by Zane Bennett, who had 24 carries for 87 yards, and Thomas Waido, who went 10 for 18 passing for 70 yards. Wahoo’s leading receivers were Peyten Walling, with 5 catches for 44 yards, and Luke Partridge, with 2 catches for 12 yards.
On defense Wahoo was lead by linebackers Kole Bordovksy with 17 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and Sam Kolterman with 11 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks. Grant Kolterman aso added 4 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 interception return for a touchdown.
On special teams the Warriors dominated with Sam Kolterman blocking a punt, and Cooper Hancock’s three punt returns for 67 yards.
Wahoo will play Nebraska City next Friday at home.
