WHS FBLA Students Attend 50th Annual State Conference

Fifteen students from WHS, along with Mrs. Shanahan and 2,200 other students from across the state, attended the 50th annual Nebraska State FBLA Conference in Omaha March 29-31, 2012.   

It is a three-day conference held each spring. The conference consists of business meetings, competitive events, seminars, workshops, election of state officers, awards, special programs, and other planned leadership and educational activities.

Winners are as follows:

Introduction to Business Communication – Evann Vrana (4th Place)
Business Math –Janae Urban (Honorable Mention)
FBLA Principles and Procedures – Evann Vrana (Honorable Mention)
Introduction to Business Communication – Ronnie Brust (Honorable Mention), Janae Urban (Honorable Mention)
Proofreading – Evann Vrana (Honorable Mention)
Spelling – Evann Vrana (Honorable Mention)
 
Those students receiving Honorable Mention placed in the top 4% of students taking the test. Congratulations to all!!!!
