WHS FBLA Chapter Attends 2 Business Competitions
State Leadership Conference Scheduled April 2-4
Wahoo High School students have been busy with business competitions! Each year students attend the business competitions at Southeast Community College–Beatrice and Midland Lutheran College. The students take tests in a variety of areas such as Accounting, Business Math, Spelling, Marketing, etc. Seniors also take part in the Job Interview.
The Midland competition also contains a Quiz Bowl competition, which the students really seem to enjoy. It’s one of the highlights of the competition. This year’s team beat a team from an Omaha school in the first round, but lost to Ashland in the second round of competition.
This year Allie Wonka was our lone test winner. Allie placed 4th in Business Math at SECC. Congratulations Allie!
