26 WHS Students Attend 49th Annual FBLA Convention in Omaha
Students Compete with over 2,100 Others from across Nebraska
Twenty-six students from Wahoo High School attended the 49th Annual State FBLA Convention in Omaha. The conference was a very successful endeavor for all!
The conference consists of over 2,100 students from across the state taking tests in various areas of business and attending seminars. The Wahoo High FBLA students put in a lot of time preparing for the conference this year by attending study sessions during January and February. Those students receiving honors are listed at the end of this article.
Wahoo also had 16 seniors that took part in the Job Interview competition, many of whom received very high scores. The job interview consisted of preparing a cover letter, resume, and job application prior to the competition. At the conference, each was interviewed by a professional interviewer who critiqued their interview and their forms. It was a great and valuable experience for all.
