WHS & CBHS students attend 2014 FBLA National Convention in Nashville
Weber takes 3rd in Insurance & Risk Management competition
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students from Wahoo and Cedar Bluffs traveled together to the National FBLA Convention in Nashville, Tennessee June 28-July 3.
Students qualified to compete at the national level by placing 3rd or higher at the State FBLA Convention in Omaha in April.
The National Conference was attended by more than 10,300 students and advisers/sponsors from all over the country, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
To be called to the stage, students had to place in the top 10 in their competition.
Paul Weber of Cedar Bluffs placed 3rd in Insurance and Risk Management. Others participating were Cedar Bluffs’ student Kyle Kruse in Data Base Design and Applications, and Wahoo students Evann Vrana in Business Law and Janae Urban in Future Business Leader. Wahoo Adviser Barb Shanahan accompanied the group.
