New Life Begins in Kindergarten Classroom
Students Observe Hatching of Baby Chicks
Excitement is always present in a kindergarten classroom, but on November 30 the kids in Mrs. Britton's class were more riled up than ever! Despite the coldness of winter, with the new month came new life in the form of eight baby chickens.
Soon the chickens will be sent to the homes of the children who have taken care of them (with the permission of parents of course!)
"Overall it has been great . . . we talked about the cycle in class, but for them to actually see it was just a great experience," Britton commented.
