Wahoo Elementary experiences NED's Mindset Mission Assembly
Students learn about importance of positive mindsets

These were the three messages presented to students during NED’s Mindset Mission Assembly. All students in preschool through 5th grades attended the assembly in the Performance-Learning Center on Thursday, October 3.
NED and the students took a journey to find their positive mindsets. The presentation was filled with storytelling, humor, illusions, and amazing yo-yo tricks. The students discovered the hidden message in NED’s name:
Never give up – understand The Power of YET
Encourage others – spark courage in other people
Do your best – always be learning and growing
“It was a very engaging and fun assembly! It was so great to see all students from preschool all the way through 5th grade engaged and learning,” said Wahoo Elementary School Counselor Cindy Klepper.
And the learning didn’t stop with the assembly. Elementary teachers in all grade levels have used various teaching materials to reinforce the three messages in the days following the assembly.
Having the “NED Mindset” is extremely important for students’ success in whatever they do – both inside and outside of school.
