Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe 2nd quarter 8th grade Industrial Tech students recently competed their metric 500 race to qualify two cars for the all school championships in May.
The top car in the class was #311 by Kylee Brigham with a time of 1.230 seconds and average speed of 36.31MPH.
In 2nd place, Emily Pestal's #321 car recorded a time of 1.238 seconds with an average speed of 36.07MPH. It was a close final race, separated by a mere .008 seconds!
