Tim Wright shares his knowledge and experiences from 32-year mission in Mali
Tim Wright, a visiting missionary, shared the geography, culture, and daily life of the people of Mali, Africa. Tim’s life experiences in a country so far away, yet close to Timbuktu, captivated Wahoo Middle School students on September 21.
Wright and his wife have dedicated themselves to missionary work in Mali, Africa for over three decades. Besides speaking English, Wright is also very fluent in French and the native language of Bambara. Native born, Wright attended school in Mali, where he found the love of missionary work through his parents. His slide show of fascinating facts, adventures and his life as a missionary captivated his student audience, who were very responsive with their many great questions. This year will mark 32 years of missionary work for Wright and his wife, and their future plans are to retire at the end of the year.
Thank you to Pastor Don White for organizing this special event for our youth, and thank you Mr. Tim Wright for your time here at WMS!
