Class of 2020 quilt complete & on display
Students contribute their own square to class keepsake
Launch the media gallery 1 playerLast year during the final weeks of our seventh grade year, Mrs. Walker's students each designed and sewed a square that represented their personality.
The project involved first teaching the class how to sew and make it look decent. Once the squares were finished, they were sent to a quilter. Mrs. Vech arranged the squares in an order that was unique and colorful.
The quilt will be a remarkable keepsake, and will hang in the middle school commons for all to admire this school year. In 2020, our year of graduation, the quilt will be auctioned, and a classmate will keep it forever!
