2019 Warrior Show Choirs/Bands off to a solid start!
Royalty takes 1st place (small schools) @ Midwest Cup & Roosevelt competitions; Legacy takes 4th in Sioux Falls
On Saturday, January 12, Royalty, the WHS varsity show choir, opened their competition season by performing at the Lied Center in Lincoln for UNL’s Midwest Cup. In a field of almost all AA schools and huge programs, Royalty gave a great performance, winning first place in the small school division.
On Saturday, January 19, both Wahoo High School show choirs traveled to Ralston. Legacy, the girls show choir, gave their first competitive performance and won 5th place in the women’s division. Royalty broke finals and won 6th place overall.
On Saturday, January 26, both Royalty and Legacy gave they best performances of the season at the Roosevelt Competition in Sioux Falls, SD, winning 1st place in the small school division and 4th place in the women’s division respectively.
