Lilly Obert & Jessica Snelling selected for 2021 All-State Choir!
WHS students chosen via audition to perform among Nebraska's top musicians on Nov. 19 @ the Lied Center
For three days (November 17-19), students from all over Nebraska will gather in Lincoln for All-State Music and the Nebraska Music Education Association’s (NMEA) yearly conference.
Students are selected for this yearly event based off of a difficult, rigorous audition process. When all was said and done, two of Wahoo's own were named among Nebraska's best!
WHS sophomore Lilly Obert and senior Jessica Snelling have been selected to sing in the 2021 All-State Choir!
These students will enjoy the opportunity to rehearse with nationally recognized clinicians, along with the state’s best high school musicians.
On Friday, November 19, the All-State ensembles will finished their week with a performance at the Lied Center in Lincoln.
This event is an extremely rewarding musical experience for all involved, and a huge honor for the students chosen to participate.
"We could not be more proud of our Wahoo singers!" commented WMS/WHS Vocal Music Director Logan Langholdt. "All-State Chorus is a life-changing experience, and a massive honor as a high school musician. I can't wait to see how our students grow in this advanced music making environment."
Congratulations Lilly and Jessica on a job well done!
