Four WHS students selected for 2020 Honor Band @ Kearney High School

Four Wahoo High School band students were accepted into the 2020 Underclassmen Honor Band at Kearney High School.
This annual honor band is comprised of excellent freshman and sophomore band students from programs all across the state of Nebraska. The students who participated in the two bands were from over 41 different Nebraska schools.
A big congratulations to WHS sophomores Peyton Nelson, Sammy Flores, Maya Foxworthy, and Luke Polacek for being selected for this honor!
The four selected students traveled to Kearney on January 20, where they spent the day rehearsing with recognized clinicians/conductors, Doctoral Student Rubén Gómez of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and retired director Roger Groth.
