WHS junior enjoys 16-day June journey across Europe

Launch the media gallery 1 playerThis past June, WHS junior Rachael Meyer went on a 16-day journey across Europe performing with the Nebraska Ambassadors of Music.
The trip consisted of 200 students from all over Nebraska, accompanied by 60 adults.
Students had the pleasure of sight seeing and performing in several countries. WHS Band Director Jason Smith was one of the staff members on the trip as well. The trip began in London, then Paris, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria, Venice, and finally Germany.
"It was an amazing trip that allowed students to experience history, culture, architecture, music, and life in Europe," Smith commented.
The Nebraska Ambassadors of Music go on this trip every two years. Students are nominated for this trip by their band directors. If you are a band student interested in this trip, please contact Mr. Smith for more information.
