WHS Students Attend Writing Workshop for Young Women
UNL Professor Helps Students Enhance Poetry Writing Skills
Launch the media gallery 1 playerUniversity of Nebraska professor Dana Kinzy recently kept six Wahoo High School girls busy writing poetry at her writing workshop at the Seward Civic Center.
“I thought it was the best workshop we’ve attended,” WHS English Teacher Larry Fangman said. “The girls did a lot of writing. They shared their poems. They wrote a lot of high quality poems. And they had fun doing it!”
Wahoo students attending the workshop were Emily Spicka, Dayna Gulliksen, Kayla Coffey, Lindsey Luers, Melissa Ford, Kali Hauschild,, Ally Roth, and Katie Sloup.

You had your magical place,
Why not share it?
Why not make others feel the way you feel?
If only there was a magical place for everyone.
