Grandgenett & Krejci Teach Students Importance of Smart Investing, Money Management
WHS FBLA members and business students have recently been seeking the advice of local experts in the areas of finance.
On November 11, in observance of Money Smart Week, Al Grandgenett, a financial advisor from the investment firm of Edward Jones, spoke to FBLA members. Grandgenett gave the students information on how to choose an investment. He stated that there are good investments even in the worst of times.
On Tuesday, November 17, Stuart Krejci from First National Bank of Wahoo talked to the Personal Finance students. Krejci gave the students a lot of information on checking accounts. He stressed to the students the importance of being responsible when it comes to handling their money. He also told the students how to use their debit and credit cards wisely and to always keep track of their account balances.
