Nebraska National Guard Encourages Students to Improve Physical Fitness Levels
The Nebraska Army National Guard paid a visit to Wahoo High School on Wednesday, Dec. 7, to stress the importance of physical fitness.
SSG Chris Herndon, along with 2008 Wahoo High School graduate Holly Styskal, led the presentation to Wahoo’s physical education students.
The presentation gave students the opportunity to participate in an army obstacle course geared to improve physical fitness levels. The obstacle course involved seven stations, with each station relating to an army skill or routine. From carrying missiles, to performing push-ups and crunches, the Wahoo High physical education classes received an awesome experience on how physical fitness levels play a critical factor for our troops in combat.
