WHS junior Sadie Murren poses with Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman at the April 1 Pinnacle Bank High School Leaders Award Luncheon at Midland University.

WHS junior Sadie Murren was one of 50 juniors across the state of Nebraska chosen as a recipient of the 2011 Pinnacle Bank High School Leaders Award.    

Murren, along with her father and Mrs. Shanahan, her nominating teacher, attended the Pinnacle Bank High School Leaders Award Luncheon held at Midland University in Fremont on Friday, April 1, 2011. The guest speaker for the luncheon was Governor Dave Heineman.  

Pinnacle Bank wanted to honor those well-rounded juniors who excelled in many areas. Judging for the award was based on academics, leadership abilities and community and school involvement.
