Warrior senior Trevor McEvoy has been accepted into the Nebraska Machinery Company (NMC) Sponsorship Program for an Applied Science Degree in the Diesel Technology Program at Central Community College in Hastings!
McEvoy’s sponsorship is valued at over $15,000!
This Central Community College program provides the training needed to begin a high-paying career as a diesel technician. Students develop professional skills through hands-on work on all systems of diesel construction equipment, farm tractors and trucks, including air conditioning, computerized fuel systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and power trains.
NMC has partnered with colleges across the Midwest for 20 years, supporting students who choose to begin a career in Diesel Technology.
McEvoy’s two-year fully-funded sponsorship includes two paid summer internships, paid tuition/books/fees/uniforms (est. $10,000 value), Toolbox and tools provided (est. $5,000 value), personalized mentoring during the summers as well as the school year, opportunity to earn an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Diesel Technology, and employment and career progression opportunities at NMC!
