Congratulations to WHS Senior Michaela Curran for being named the Runza Student of the Week!
Curran was recognized for her academic and athletic achievements. She has a 4.0 grade point average, is a member of the National Honor Society and is involved in many extra-curricular activities.
“She strives for excellence. She gives 110 percent and I think it’s contagious. I think other students that are around her- she inspires them,” commented Show Choir Director Julie Anderson.
Michaela received a plaque and a $500 college scholarship for her excellence in the classroom and school activities. Michaela is the daughter of Craig and Karla Curran of Wahoo.
